plamp

This is a coinage to describe the activities of  DJs who are live streaming. It has been observed that they commonly choose to have in the background a plant and a lava lamp. Thus the blend plamp as in DJs are plamping hard!  The feel of the music can be described as plampy.

 So the word has taken off and is being used now more to indicate the kind of mood generated by an online DJ.  The people partying at home might shout Plamp! in response to a particularly good bit of music.  You don’t even need plants and lava lamps any more. Just the vibe.
