drone light show

 Sydney may be getting a drone light show at the end of this year instead of the traditional fireworks.  The reason for this is the cost of fireworks and the amount of pollution they put in the air. Somehow after last summer we none of us quite look forward to the New Year’s Eve spectacular as it has been presented for so many years.  The drone light show is created by numbers of drones equipped with LED lights performing a computer-controlled choreographed display. The drones can be disguised as almost anything a designer fancies and can carry payloads such as stage effects, confetti, mirrors, etc.   A number of microdrones can provide a backdrop for one individual performer.
