micro lot

A micro lot is a piece of land for sale which is only 80 square metres in size. It is intended that the development on it will be a micro house.  The plot of land is described as being just a little big larger than an AFL goal square. A traditional quarter-acre block would fit 12 micro lots inside it.  West Australia seems to be leading the way in providing these micro lots as a solution for those who are downsizing, who want an affordable first home, who want a house that doesn’t need high maintenance.
