nanoship

We seem to be looking for less and less responsibility and commitment in our relationships.  The situationship was one in which two people engaged in social and sexual activities but nevertheless did not consider themselves to be in any kind of permanent or exclusive relationship.

The nanoship involves even less pressure than that. It is a fleeting moment of connection with another person, a moment of eye contact, a brief flirty conversation, a shared joke, a fleeting touch.  Moments which are pleasurable in themselves but in which there lies no expectation of any further engagement.  I wonder how many nanoships make up a relationship.
