cheese tea

Cheese tea is the latest tea-drinking craze from Asia since we were introduced to bubble tea from Taiwan. That has tapioca balls in it. This one is from China and has a foam of whipped cream cheese on top.  You make your topping by dissolving some salt and sugar into a little milk, whipping the cream cheese with thickened cream and powdered milk, adding the extra milk until you have a soft foam which you then put on top of hot or cold green tea. Cold is more popular than hot. Add a little matcha (powdered green tea) on top and you have your beverage.

 Enjoy!
