AI detector

This is a software package designed to detect content that has been generated by AI.  The content could be text, image, video or audio.  Probably the biggest market for this software is the education market where markers have to watch out for plagiarism, texts written by someone else for a fee, and now AI generated texts.  The problem is that, despite the claims of the companies offering this software, there are doubts as to the reliability of the detectors.  They can register that a text is AI-generated when it isn’t and thus possibly ruin the prospects of a student, or they can fail to see that a text is AI-generated and thus allow work to pass through that should have been rejected.  This happens often enough for it to be a cause for concern.  At the moment they have to be used with great caution.
