COVID bubble

We now have a number of versions of the COVID bubble.  The smallest is the bubble in which a household lives, restricting not entirely but fairly severely the entry of outsiders into the family circle.  This is extended to the intimate bubble, allowing partners to visit each other in their homes.

Then we have the bubbles created by the various sports which allow players and staff within the bubble to behave, and in particular, to play their game, in the usual way. But no one is allowed to dip out of the bubble and no outsiders are allowed to enter the bubble.  There have been some examples of bubble break, with girlfriends crashing the bubble and players wandering outside it to have lunch with friends.  But on the whole the bubbles have held.

Now we are considering border bubbles to relieve the effect of the state border restrictions which have resulted in hardship for some.

An alternative name is coronavirus bubble.
